MFL Teacher

Job Description

Fluent in Spanish and passionate about education? Zest Education is collaborating with a ‘Good’ Ofsted rated school in Stoke-on-Trent, seeking an MFL teacher specializing in Spanish. The full-time role is scheduled to commence in January 2025, with the possibility of extension at the school’s discretion.

The ideal candidate for this role should possess creativity, passion, and enthusiasm as qualities as well as experience teaching Spanish up to KS5, with additional proficiency in French or German up to KS4. Confidence, enthusiasm, and the ability to cater to diverse learning needs are also essential.

This school is a large secondary institution that caters to a wide range of students and is gaining recognition in the surrounding areas. The dedicated staff here work diligently to foster a supportive and inclusive environment, placing the wellbeing of the children at the forefront.

Successful applicants should have the following qualifications and skills:
– A PGCE or an equivalent UK teaching qualification leading to QTS or QTLS
– A genuine passion for teaching Spanish and a solid understanding of the curriculum across KS3 and KS4
– A desire to collaborate as part of the wider MFL team
– The ability to plan, assess, and deliver high-quality lessons (for short/long-term placements, planning and assessment are applicable)
– Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain good behaviour.
