Early Career Teacher, North Birmingham

Job Description

Zest Education are looking for newly qualified or current ECT’s to join a secondary school in the Hodge Hill area, that we work closely with.

This is a small secondary school with strong community values; the school know and care for every pupil as an individual. The school celebrate diversity and are always striving for equality in their school family and the wider world. The school’s ethos encourages mutual respect and support to enable every pupil to make the greatest personal, social and academic progress during their time in education.

A curriculum that has a balanced framework has been developed which allows flexible but coherent approach to study for all pupils. The school are committed to raising the achievements, attainments, and aspirations of every pupil.

This is a full-time role starting in September 2022 for two academic years.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

 

Rate of pay varies dependant on experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
