History Teacher

Job Description

New opportunity for a History Teacher teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students based in Staffordshire.

The Role:
The school is seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join their team starting in September for an academic year, with the possibility of extension. In this role, you will be responsible for planning engaging lessons, delivering them effectively, and assessing and marking student work in line with the curriculum. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a passion for history, fostering a love for learning in this subject.

Key Requirements:
– Hold a PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification
– Have QTS or QTLS
– ECTs and NVQs, as well as experienced teachers, are encouraged to apply
– Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
– Experience working with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 children
– A genuine passion for teaching history and instilling this enthusiasm in students
