We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Classroom Support Assistant to join a wonderful special educational needs school in Walsall. This role is ideal for those who genuinely have a passion for helping children, particularly with learning difficulties, and a fantastic opportunity for those considering a career in teaching to gain valuable first-hand experience.
This is a part-time position and the successful candidate must be able to commit to 4 days a week. The position will be starting in the new academic year to continue on a long-term basis until summer 2023.
The school caters for children from the age of seven to eighteen years old with moderate learning difficulties, however majority of our pupils have additional needs, including autism, speech, language and communication difficulties and some behavioural issues.
The school is improving within academic and attainment levels and is continually looking to ensure their students develop into respectable and inspiring individuals. The successful candidate must have experience supporting individuals with SEND.
