Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Teacher of Science to join the team at a Secondary School in Shrewsbury.

As a KS4 Science Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to students.

The ideal candidate will be engaging, adaptable and able to energise a range of students. You will be working in a moderately challenging school so interpersonal skills, behaviour management, and communication are all key to success in the role.

The role is set to start after the Easter Holiday and will continue through to the end of the academic year.

Responsibilities and requirements:

– Organised and able to effectively manage classrooms
– Hold a PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification with QTS or QTLS
– Work collaboratively within a team environment
– Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to different learning styles
– Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
– Creative approach to making lessons enjoyable and accessible
– Experience working with KS3 and KS4 students and a genuine passion for teaching Science
