Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Autism (ASC) aged 4-16? Zest Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a special educational needs school in Rugeley.
As a Teaching Assistant in this school, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational development of students with diverse learning needs. Your responsibilities will include assisting the teacher in delivering lessons, supporting students with their daily activities, and managing challenging behaviours with confidence.
The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience working in a SEND environment, demonstrating adaptability and patience when working with children of varying ages and learning difficulties. You will be a motivated individual who is committed to fostering an inclusive and equal learning environment that empowers students to develop essential life skills.
With a maximum of nine students per class based on ability, you will have the opportunity to provide personalised attention and support to each student, ensuring they receive a high standard of education tailored to their needs. Your flexibility and willingness to work across different classes will be essential in meeting the diverse needs of the students.
This temporary position is available immediately until the end of the academic year, with working hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
