We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant to work at a Primary School in Sutton Coldfield. They are a primary school academy, which puts children at the heart of everything they do and are proud to serve the local community. They are looking for someone who wants to play a vital role in shaping the future of some of the schools most vulnerable children.
We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience of working with children with SEMH and complex additional needs. You must be creative, positive, adaptable and nurturing. We are also seeking someone with strong behaviour management skills and a good understanding of emotion coaching. You must be resilient and committed to ensuring children are at the heart of everything you do. As part of this role, you will work within the specialist teaching and nurture group, supporting vulnerable children who have SEMH and complex additional needs. You will work alongside a dedicated team who have been part of setting up the nurture provision.
Hours: 32 hrs and 30 minutes per week, term time only
Location: Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham
Start Date: Required after Easter
