Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with experience in working with pupils with complex additional needs?

Zest Education is currently seeking a qualified teacher to join our special educational school located in Cannock. This part-time position requires you to work 4 days a week, with the opportunity to discuss further details during the interview process.

 About the Role:

As a teacher at this school, you will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 3 classes, catering to pupils aged between 11 and 13. We welcome applications from candidates with QTS status, whether your background lies in Primary or Secondary Teaching. The ideal candidate will possess a creative approach to teaching, tailored to meet the educational needs of our pupils.

You will play a crucial role in delivering the school curriculum in a manner that maximises pupils’ achievement and development. Due to the diverse needs of our pupils, some of whom may exhibit challenging behaviour, prior experience in handling such situations is essential.

Your responsibilities will include creating a fun and engaging learning environment for the pupils, collaborating with support staff to ensure each child receives the necessary assistance, and providing feedback to SLT, parents, and carers.

 Requirements:

– Previous experience teaching in an SEN school or working extensively with pupils with complex additional needs

– Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver engaging teaching sessions

– Possession of UK QTS or QTLS qualification is mandatory

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
