IB Spanish Teacher (Temporary Cover)
Location: Central London
Start Date: 27th August 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Fixed Term (Until October Half Term)
Salary: Inner London Main Pay Scale
£38,766 – £60,092

Zest Education London is working in partnership with a leading international school in Central London to recruit a Spanish Teacher for a full-time, short-term position starting in August 2025.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver high-quality IB Spanish lessons across Grades 6 to 12

  • Plan and teach engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the IB MYP and DP frameworks

  • Assess student learning using IB assessment criteria and provide effective feedback

  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Language Acquisition department and across the wider school

  • Support students from a range of linguistic and cultural backgrounds

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified teacher with experience teaching Spanish (ideally within the IB framework)

  • A passion for language acquisition and global education

  • Experience teaching across a range of secondary age groups (Grades 6–12 or UK equivalent)

  • Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills

  • A flexible, reflective, and student-centred approach to teaching
