MFL Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education have been asked to recruit an MFL Teacher to join an extremely hard-working department within a local Staffordshire secondary school. This role is a full-time placement to start September 2024 in an ongoing position.

Ideally the school are looking for an MFL teacher with creativity, passion and enthusiasm to join their dynamic departmental team. The school is also able to offer state of the art facilities to allow for inventive and creative lessons to be conducted daily and is easily accessible through either public or private transport. The ideal candidate should have excellent subject knowledge up to KS4 with knowledge at KS5 not required but would be an advantage. Excellent classroom and behaviour management is also necessary.

The successful applicant will have:
  1. A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  2. A strong passion for the subject of MFL and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  3. A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  4. The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
  5. Strong classroom and behaviour management

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
