Part-Time Job Share Role: Year 4 Teacher (0.6 FTE – 3 Days/Week)
Are you an Early Career Teacher ready to begin your journey or an experienced educator seeking a supportive, community-focused setting? Zest Education is recruiting a 0.6 Year 4 teacher, working three days per week, on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Solihull. The position begins September 2025 and extends at least until Easter 2026, with potential to continue longer.
About the Role
You will partner in a job-share arrangement, joining a dedicated colleague to co-deliver an engaging, broad curriculum to Year 4 pupils. Your days will involve planning, teaching, and assessment across core subjects while ensuring smooth transitions between job-share partners. This collaborative role invites innovative planning, differentiated approaches, and a focus on promoting pupil confidence and achievement.
Who We’re Looking For
Both ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply. You’ll need QTS, a genuine passion for teaching, and the ability to work as part of a seamless two-piece team. Ideal candidates are reflective practitioners with strong classroom management skills, enthusiastic classroom presence, and a genuine interest in contributing to a supportive, evolving school culture.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
