Trainee Teaching Assistant – Brent | Long-Term & Daily Supply Roles

Location: Brent, North West London
Job Type: Full-time 
Start Date: September and ongoing
Pay: £89-95 per day


About the Role

We are looking for passionate and reliable Trainee Teaching Assistants to support schools across Brent in both daily supply and long-term roles. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience and start your journey into education.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support class teachers with learning activities and classroom management

  • Work with pupils on a one-to-one or small group basis

  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

  • Assist with preparation of resources and classroom materials

  • Adapt support according to the needs of individual pupils

  • Participate in training and ongoing development opportunities

Requirements

  • Previous experience with children (formal or informal) is desirable but not essential

  • Right to work in the UK

  • DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
