Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Job Description

Are you a nurturing and enthusiastic childcare professional with a Level 3 qualification in Early Years? Zest Education is proud to be working with a warm and welcoming nursery setting in Stafford, who are looking for a dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their team from Mid July 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting early childhood development in a setting that values care, creativity, and learning through play.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities

  • Creating a warm and secure environment where children feel safe and valued

  • Observing and tracking development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

  • Supporting children with personal care and daily routines

  • Building positive relationships with children, staff, and parents

  • Ensuring the nursery remains compliant with safeguarding and health & safety standards


 Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years Education (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, BTEC)

  • Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting

  • A warm, caring, and professional attitude

  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and how to apply it in practice

  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Up-to-date safeguarding training is desirable

The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
