Full-Time Teaching Assistant (KS1 Resource Base) – September Start
Location: South Birmingham
Contract: Full Academic Year | Monday – Friday | 8:20am – 3:40pm
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Zest Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the South Birmingham area. We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 1 Resource Base on a full-time basis from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs, especially within a specialist provision setting. The role will run for the full academic year, providing continuity and meaningful support for pupils who benefit from a consistent and structured learning environment.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils in KS1 with a range of additional needs within a dedicated resource base

• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies

• Encouraging pupil engagement, independence, and emotional well-being

• Creating a nurturing and supportive atmosphere where every child can thrive

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience working with children with SEND, particularly in a primary or resource base setting

• A calm, patient, and resilient approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A commitment to supporting every child’s learning journey
