Job Description

Part-Time PPA Teacher – KS2
Location: Kings Heath
Working Day: Every Thursday
Contract: Autumn Term 2025 (potential to extend into January 2026)
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: Paid to scale, dependent on experience

Zest Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and confident Part-Time PPA Teacher to work in a welcoming and well-organised primary school located in the Kings Heath area of South Birmingham. This role will begin in September 2025 and is expected to run throughout the autumn term, with the possibility of extension into January 2026.

About the Role

This position involves delivering KS2 PPA cover every Thursday, supporting a range of year groups across Key Stage 2. You will be covering lessons planned by class teachers and expected to deliver them with consistency and professionalism, ensuring pupils remain engaged and on track.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills are essential
  • Confidence in teaching across Key Stage 2
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and maintain consistency with staff and pupils
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and maintaining a positive learning environment
