Zest Education are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Hall Green area, who are seeking a committed and nurturing Teaching Assistant to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis from September 2025.
This is a full-time role for the Autumn term, with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the pupil’s learning, development, and wellbeing, under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.
The Role:
Working 1:1 with a pupil who requires additional support throughout the school day
Supporting both academic and emotional needs in and out of the classroom
Collaborating with teaching staff and external agencies to deliver tailored interventions
Encouraging independence and confidence in a positive learning environment
Ideal Candidate:
Has previous experience working with children, particularly in a 1:1 or SEN capacity
Demonstrates empathy, patience, and strong communication skills
Is flexible, reliable, and passionate about supporting children’s development
Holds a relevant child care qualification (NVQ LEvel2 or above) or has equivalent classroom experience
