PPA teacher

Job Description

Part-Time Teacher – PPA & Intervention Cover
📍 Solihull | 🗓 September 2025 – Easter 2026 | 📅 3 Days per Week (0.6)

Zest Education is proud to be working in partnership with a vibrant and welcoming junior school in the heart of Solihull, who are seeking a part-time teacher to join their team from September 2025 to Easter 2026, covering a maternity contract.

This exciting opportunity is perfect for a confident, adaptable and enthusiastic educator who enjoys the variety and creativity of teaching across different classes. The role involves delivering PPA cover and intervention sessions across KS2, three days a week (0.6), in a well-organised and supportive school environment.

What to Expect:

No two days are quite the same in this role – and that’s what makes it so rewarding. You’ll be stepping into classrooms across the school, delivering high-quality teaching during PPA cover and supporting small groups of pupils through targeted interventions. Your energy, flexibility and positivity will make a real impact in a school where staff and pupils alike value teamwork and a love of learning.

We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS

  • Someone confident delivering engaging lessons across KS2

  • A fun, approachable personality with strong behaviour management skills

  • An adaptable mindset and willingness to support where needed

  • Experience with intervention work or small group teaching is desirable

Why Join Zest Education?

At Zest, we understand that teaching is about far more than just standing in front of a class. That’s why we take the time to match you with roles that suit your style, values and goals. When you work with us, you can expect:

  • A personal and honest approach

  • Competitive weekly pay

  • Ongoing support from a friendly, experienced team

  • Opportunities for continued professional development
