Year 5 Teacher – Full Time (Moseley Area)
Zest Education is excited to be recruiting on behalf of a thriving, rapidly improving Junior School in the Moseley area. They are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and adaptable Year 5 Teacher to join their team from October half term until Easter. This full-time position offers a fantastic opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators looking to make a positive impact in a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-Time Teaching of Year 5 children across the core curriculum
Planning: While full planning will be provided, you will be expected to adapt these resources to meet the individual needs of your class as the role progresses
Encourage engagement and enthusiasm for learning
Support children in reaching their full potential, both academically and socially
Contribute to the wider school community and collaborate with staff members to promote a positive, inclusive school culture
Maintain high standards of classroom management, behaviour, and safety
The Ideal Candidate:
A qualified Primary Teacher (QTS) – ECTs and experienced teachers welcome!
Passionate about teaching and learning with a strong commitment to improving outcomes for children
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
An adaptable and reflective practitioner, eager to tailor your approach to meet the needs of your class
Experience or a willingness to work in a rapidly improving school environment, with a growth mindset

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
