Job Description

Zest Education is thrilled to be partnering with an outstanding school in Redditch, who are looking to recruit a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher for a full-time role from September 2025 until the end of the academic year 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators to join a school that prides itself on providing an excellent educational experience in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-Time Teaching of Year 5 children across the national curriculum

  • Planning and Preparation: You will have the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, with full planning support, although some adaptation will be expected to meet the needs of your class as the year progresses

  • Create a positive learning environment that fosters academic achievement, personal development, and a love of learning

  • Support pupils in reaching their full potential academically and emotionally

  • Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents, contributing to the school’s strong community ethos

  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills, maintaining a focused and respectful environment

  • A qualified Primary Teacher (QTS) – Open to both ECTs and experienced teachers

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
