Here at Zest Education, we are looking for a hard-working and confident teaching assistant for a school located in Birmingham. This school caters for primary and secondary aged students with PMLD and Autism. This school views working closely with families, carers, and multi-agency professionals as vital in meeting their students needs in addition to their collaborative teamwork approach ensuring the best education possible is provided to their students.
This Birmingham based school offers several different facilities and therapies for its students such as, forest school, hydrotherapy pool, multi-sensory room, living skills area, onsite physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, work experience and many more. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, 8:30AM – 15:30PM supporting alongside the teacher and other teaching assistants. Due to the age range this school caters for the ideal candidate must be flexible across all age groups.
The role:
– We are looking for someone with previous special educational needs experience
– You will need to be confident with working with student with PLMD.
– Due to this school catering for a variety of ages, you will need to be adaptable

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
