Job Description

Teaching Assistant – Full-Time Role (ASD Support)
Location: Neasden, London
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only, 08:30-16:00pm
Start Date: September 2025 – July 2026

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school in Wembley, working specifically within our specialist Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) unit. This full-time role involves supporting children with ASD in both 1:1 and small group settings, helping them to access learning and thrive within the school environment.

The ideal candidate will be patient, adaptable, and passionate about inclusive education. You will work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to deliver tailored support that meets each child’s individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised support to pupils with ASD

  • Assist in implementing EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) targets

  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and therapists

  • Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

  • Support children with social communication, emotional regulation, and daily routines
