Teaching Assistant – Full-Time Role (ASD Support)
Location: Neasden, London
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only, 08:30-16:00pm
Start Date: September 2025 – July 2026
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school in Wembley, working specifically within our specialist Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) unit. This full-time role involves supporting children with ASD in both 1:1 and small group settings, helping them to access learning and thrive within the school environment.
The ideal candidate will be patient, adaptable, and passionate about inclusive education. You will work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to deliver tailored support that meets each child’s individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualised support to pupils with ASD
Assist in implementing EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) targets
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and therapists
Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Support children with social communication, emotional regulation, and daily routines
Inclusive and welcoming primary school located in Neasden
Features a dedicated ASD unit supporting children across Early Years and Key Stages
Focused on creating a nurturing environment where all children can thrive
High expectations for all learners, including those with additional needs
The ASD unit offers a structured, supportive setting tailored to the needs of pupils with autism
