Teaching Assistant

Job Description

We are looking to recruit a hard-working, enthusiastic, and confident individual who are keen to work in and explore new schools in Birmingham. This school caters for children aged two to twenty-five with complex needs and medical needs. This learning environment has a specialised curriculum tailored to each student including an emphasis on preparing for adulthood and learning about real life experiences, which has proven to be greatly successful with students and noticed by the last 6 ‘Outstanding’ reports from Ofsted.

This role will require you to work Monday to Friday 8:30AM – 15:30PM with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups. The ideal candidate will have previous SEND experience and experience within a classroom environment. this role will require you to be a team player, confident and keen to implement the best possible education for the students.

The role:

–              We are looking for someone with previous special educational needs experience

 

–              You will need to be confident with working with student with Complex needs and medical needs.

 

–              Due to this school catering for a variety of ages, you will need to be adaptable.
