Zest education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the friendly and supportive team in Year 5 at a welcoming and vibrant primary school in Acocks Green. This is a full-time position starting in October 2025.
As a Year 5 Teaching Assistant, you will:
Work closely with the class teacher to support the delivery of engaging and effective lessons
Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils, including those with additional needs
Help create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Assist with administrative tasks and the preparation of teaching materials
Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities
Has experience working with primary-aged children (KS2 experience desirable)
Is patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic
Can build positive relationships with children and staff
Has strong communication and organisational skills
Holds relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certificate) or equivalent experience

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
