We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our dedicated team at a special educational needs (SEN) school based in Moseley, Birmingham. This is a full-time role starting in September 2025, supporting pupils with a variety of learning needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
The successful teaching assistant will work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver high-quality, individualised support to children with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping young people reach their full potential, both academically and emotionally.
Responsibilities include providing in-class support, implementing strategies from individual education plans, promoting positive behaviour, and helping pupils develop essential life skills. Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable, but not essential for the right candidate. A positive attitude, resilience, and a genuine interest in supporting children are essential qualities for this teaching assistant role.
This opportunity offers a rewarding and varied working environment where every day presents new challenges and achievements. The school values teamwork, ongoing professional development, and a strong commitment to inclusive education.
If you are a caring, adaptable, and proactive individual looking to grow your experience as a teaching assistant, we would love to hear from you. This is a great chance to make a real impact as a teaching assistant in a school that values every learner.
