A special educational needs school in Yardley Wood, Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our committed team full-time from September 2025. This role offers an opportunity to support children with complex and varied additional needs in a caring and well-resourced learning environment.
As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with pupils across a range of age groups, supporting their educational, social, and emotional development. Your role will involve working alongside teaching staff to deliver structured support, manage routines, and adapt activities to meet individual learning plans.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive teaching assistant who brings patience, consistency, and a strong sense of initiative. Experience working in an SEN setting is beneficial, but we also welcome applications from individuals with transferable experience in care, youth work, or other relevant backgrounds.
