Zest Education work with a lovely SEND in Stoke who require a Teaching Assistant to start September 2025 the end of the academic year. This school caters for students with Autism (ASC) and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH).
This role is part time, only Monday to Wednesday working on a 1:1 basis with a student in Year 4. You will be supporting with the understanding of day-to-day tasks. We are looking for someone that has previously worked with autism or has personal experience of supporting individuals with SEND.
The team here work hard to maintain a supportive and inclusive ethos across all areas of the school and put the children at the heart of what they do. Each class has a maximum of nine students and on some occasions, you may be required to work with children in small groups as well as 1:1. The role will require you to quickly build engaging relationships with the children, and you will need to work closely as a team with the class teacher and other teaching assistants.
