Are you an experienced educator who still loves teaching, but no longer wants the full-time workload of class teaching? Zest Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school seeking a part-time teacher to join their Year 3 team on a job share basis.
This is the perfect opportunity for a highly experienced teacher who wants to stay connected to the classroom and make a genuine impact — without the demands of a full-time role.
The Role:
Year Group: Year 3
Working Pattern: 2 days per week (0.4 contract)
Start Date: October half term 2025
End Date: End of academic year (July 2026)
Planning Provided: Full planning is in place — you’ll simply adapt it to meet the needs of your class
Support Available: You’ll have a full-time Teaching Assistant in class
Expectations:
Tailor planning and delivery to suit learners’ needs
Collaborate closely with your job share partner
Attend staff meetings to stay aligned with school policies , procedures and updates

A qualified teacher (QTS) with substantial classroom experience
Someone looking to reduce their hours but still maintain a high standard of teaching
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and pupils
A team player who is happy to engage with the wider life of the school
Commitment to high-quality teaching and safeguarding practices

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
