Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Reception – ASD Support)
Location: Willesden, London
Contract: Full-time, term-time only
Work on a 1:1 basis with a Reception child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Provide personalised support to help the child access learning and develop communication and social skills.
Support the child in class, during play, and in small group or individual sessions.
Use a range of strategies and resources, such as visual supports, to aid learning and engagement.
Assist with personal care routines when required.
Work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and external professionals to implement support plans.
Monitor and record progress, contributing to reviews and planning.
Help create an inclusive, safe, and nurturing classroom environment.
