We’re recruiting for a passionate Teaching Assistant for a busy special educational needs (SEND) school in Cannock. This is a full-time role due to begin ASAP and will continue for the full academic year. You must be able to work Monday – Friday, 8:30-15:30.
This school provides education for students from the age of 4-19 with Autism (ASC). You must have experience of working with individuals with SEND and have personal or professional understanding of Autism.
You will be joining a dedicated team who work together to ensure successful outcomes for students who often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.
As a teaching assistant, you will be working with the students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis with students who require additional support to ensure they get their very best out of their education.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
