Zest Education is working closely with a welcoming primary school in Bournville (South Birmingham) to recruit an experienced and dedicated TA for a full-time role supporting a large Year 5 class.

About the Role

In this rewarding and varied position, you will:

  • Work across a large Year 5 class, providing general classroom support

  • Support the class teacher with lesson delivery, group work, and classroom management

  • Deliver 1:1 academic support to pupils who may need extra help to meet their targets

  • Help maintain an engaging, inclusive and well-organised classroom environment

  • Foster positive relationships with children, staff and parents/carers alike

 

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualified in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent NVQ)

  • Confident working in KS2, ideally with prior Year 5 experience

  • Calm, patient and proactive with a genuine passion for helping children succeed

  • Comfortable supporting both whole-class activities and 1:1 interventions

  • Reliable, flexible and ready to make a real impact from day one
