Curriculum Area Learning Supervisor

Job Description

Zest is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Curriculum Area Learning Supervisor to work at a primary Academy in Cannock. You will be required to support teaching and learning across Reception to Year 6, and to provide cover supervision in the absence of a teacher.

This primary academcy is a hardworking and committed team of professionals who work together to provide a welcoming, safe, and “outstanding” academy and nursery.

Start Date: 3rd November 2025

Monday – Friday, Term-time + INSET

32.5 hours per week

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare & Education
  • Is committed and passionate about improving outcomes for children and the academy
  • Maintains high expectations of themselves, colleagues, pupils, and parents
  • Contributes to teaching and learning and provides feedback on pupils’ progress and behaviour
  • Supports the selection and preparation of inclusive teaching resources
  • Assists in evaluating pupil progress through a range of monitoring and assessment activities
  • Works effectively within all school policies and procedures
  • Communicates daily with class teachers, teaching assistants, and leadership staff
  • Can follow instructions from other professionals
  • Is proactive, adaptable, and flexible in their approach
