Classroom Support Assistant – Telford
We are currently looking for a full-time Classroom Support Assistant for a special educational needs school located in Telford. This position is due to begin November 2022 and will continue for the full academic year. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 15:30.
This school caters for children from the age of five to sixteen with Autism (ASC). Although this position is to work in a school environment, we are open to receiving applications from TA’s, support workers and individuals that have worked with adults with special educational needs.
This is a well-respected school, that ensures students within the setting are supported throughout their time in the environment. Many of the learners in this environment find it difficult to trust individuals, so we are looking for someone that can build rapport quickly. You will be required to work alongside the class teacher, prepare the classroom and learning resources and support the students with all areas of the curriculum.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
