Zest Education needs you! We are looking for a passionate, hard-working, and confident SEND learning support assistant for a school in Birmingham. This school caters for children ages 3-14 and 14-19 across two sites with PLMD. Providing the best education is paramount at this school, this is shown through their personal curriculum to meet the needs of each child whilst providing a challenge with support. This school is renowned for its family created ethos and vales and this has seen students excel and become happy learners. This school also offers offsite learning where the students can access the community, meet with different schools, and gain real adulthood experiences and implement this into their core curriculum.
This is a full-time role and requires you to work Monday to Friday 8:30AM – 15:30PM. You will be supporting alongside the teacher and other learning support assistants, working on a one-to-one basis and within small groups.
The role:
– We are looking for someone with previous special educational needs experience
– You will need to be confident with working with student with PLMD.
– Due to this school catering for a variety of ages, you will need to be adaptable

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
