Zest Education is working with a primary school in Tamworth, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.

Position: Teaching Assistant (Part-Time)
Working Hours: 9:00am – 1:00pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Term Time Only
Start Date: September 2025
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work across various year groups, providing general classroom support and assisting children on both a 1:1 and small group basis. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about primary education and looking to make a real difference in a part-time capacity.
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience working with primary-aged children (school or education-based settings preferred)
Is confident supporting children with varying abilities and needs
Works well as part of a team and shows initiative
Is patient, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting pupil development
Holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
A dedicated consultant who understands your needs
Access to a range of roles in primary, secondary, and SEN schools

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
