Job Description

1:1 Teaching Assistant – Reception (ASD Support)

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our team as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, working full-time to support a child in Reception with ASD. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s early learning journey.

About the Role

  • Work closely with a child in Reception on a 1:1 basis

  • Provide tailored support to meet individual needs and help them thrive

  • Assist with communication, social skills, and learning activities

  • Collaborate with class teachers, SEN staff and parents to ensure progress

  • Encourage independence and confidence in everyday routines

  • Full-time position, term-time only
