Zest Education is proud to be working in partnership with a warm and welcoming primary school located in the heart of Tamworth. We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support the school on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week.

Deliver pre-planned lessons across various year groups in the absence of the class teacher
Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups, particularly in literacy and numeracy
Assist with planning and preparing learning activities under teacher direction
Contribute to the assessment and progress tracking of pupils
Support the wider school team in promoting positive behaviour and safeguarding
HLTA status or equivalent qualification is essential
Previous experience working within a primary school setting
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A positive and flexible attitude to adapt to the needs of the school
A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
A dedicated consultant to support you throughout your placement
