Year 4 Class Teacher – Full Time | Solihull | ASAP Start
Minimum 8-week placement | Suitable for ECTs and experienced teachers

Zest Education are proud to be working in partnership with a thriving and forward-thinking primary school in the heart of Solihull, as they seek a passionate and dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is a full-time role, lasting a minimum of 8 weeks, with the potential to extend.

The Role:

As a Year 4 Class Teacher, you will take on the full classroom role, including planning, delivering engaging lessons, marking, and assessing pupil progress. The class is well-behaved and enthusiastic, and you’ll have access to excellent resources and support from the wider school team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that inspires and challenges pupils

  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

  • Monitor and support the progress of each child, ensuring all learners are given the opportunity to reach their potential

  • Work collaboratively with year group colleagues, support staff, and SLT

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Is passionate about creating a positive and engaging learning environment

  • Has high expectations of behaviour and achievement

  • Is confident, proactive, and adaptable

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
