SEN Teaching Assistant (Hammersmith)

Job Description

Zest Education are seeking a caring, dedicated and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with autism in Year 2. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to enable the child to access the curriculum, build independence, and flourish socially and academically. The school is located in the Hammersmith area.

About the Role:

  • Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to the child with autism, adapting resources and strategies to their needs

  • Encourage communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour

  • Collaborate with the class teacher to differentiate tasks and adapt learning

  • Support transitions, routines, and adjustments in the classroom environment

  • Aid in preparing and adapting learning materials (visual supports, prompts, etc.)

  • Promote independence and self-help skills

  • Full time role starting ASAP
