Level 3 Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support – SEND) – Bournville Area
Location: Bournville, Birmingham
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full Time, 8:20am – 3:40pm (Monday to Friday)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications (£90 – £100 per day)

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to join the team in a 1:1 support role with a child in Y3 who has additional needs.
About the Role:
This rewarding position requires a caring and resilient Teaching Assistant to work closely with a child who has physical disabilities and specific learning needs. You will play a crucial role in the child’s development and daily experience at school by providing consistent, compassionate support throughout the school day.
Your responsibilities will include:
1:1 support within the classroom to help the child access the curriculum
Providing personal care and assistance with mobility as required
Running tailored intervention sessions outside the classroom to support learning and development
Working collaboratively with teaching staff and SEND specialists
Using your initiative and independence to manage challenges and adapt to the child’s needs
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is:
Level 3 qualified in a relevant childcare or teaching support course
Experienced in working with children with SEND, particularly physical disabilities
Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to making a difference
Confident in delivering individualised learning activities outside the classroom
Comfortable providing personal care in a respectful and professional manner
A great communicator who works well in a team but is also self-motivated
