Full-Time Year 5 Teacher – Long-Term Role Starting November | South Birmingham
Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Key Stage 2 teacher looking for your next rewarding opportunity? Zest Education is currently recruiting for a full-time Year 5 teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in South Birmingham. This exciting role begins in November 2025 and will run until at least Easter 2026, with the potential for extension.
About the Role:
We are looking for a confident and committed Year 5 teacher who can quickly settle into an established team and hit the ground running. This is a full-time classroom teaching role, and you will be responsible for:
Delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum
Taking full responsibility for planning, preparation, assessment and classroom management
Working closely with the leadership team and support staff to ensure all pupils reach their potential
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages pupil progress and wellbeing
This role would suit a teacher who thrives in a collaborative setting and can confidently take the lead in planning from day one.

What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven experience in Key Stage 2, ideally with Year 5
Strong classroom management and planning skills
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching
