Zest Education are looking to recruit a SEND teaching assistant for a school located four miles from the city centre of Birmingham. This community day school caters for children aged three to eleven with learning difficulties ranging from moderate to severe and strives to provide the best education to their students. The school works in collaboration with other schools in the local area who all share knowledge and skills to achieve success for all, with a tailored curriculum carried through to all classes in order to meet all students needs.
This is a full-time role and requires you to work Monday to Friday 8:30AM-15:30PM supporting alongside the teacher and other teaching assistants. You will be working with students on a one-to-one basis or within small groups and due to the age range this school caters for, you must be flexible across all age groups.
The role:
– We are looking for someone with previous special educational needs experience
– You will need to be confident with working with student with learning difficulties.
– Due to this school catering for a variety of ages, you will need to be adaptable

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
