Zest Education is recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to work full time at a welcoming primary school in Cannock. This teacher role is to cover a maternity leave from 23 February 2026 until 31 December 2026, offering a fantastic opportunity for a committed teacher seeking a long-term placement.
As a Primary School Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, creating engaging lessons, and supporting pupil progress throughout the maternity cover. This full-time teacher position suits someone who is confident, adaptable, and passionate about primary education.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons as a primary teacher
Manage the classroom effectively and support positive behaviour
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress
Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working as a teacher in a primary school setting
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Flexible, reliable, and committed teacher
