Zest Education is recruiting a PPA Cover Teacher to work every Monday at a friendly and supportive primary school in Tamworth. This is a long-term opportunity covering a Year 3/4 class and will run until the end of the academic year.
Role: PPA Cover Teacher
Year Group: Year 3 / Year 4 (Lower KS2)
Location: Tamworth, Staffordshire
Start Date: Monday 23rd February
Working Pattern: Every Monday
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
This role is ideal for a qualified teacher looking for a consistent weekly commitment, offering excellent work-life balance while remaining in the classroom.
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons to a Year 3/4 class
Provide continuity and consistency during teacher PPA time
Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
Follow school planning and policies
Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 3 or 4 preferred)
Ability to commit to every Monday until the end of the academic year
Strong classroom management skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Guaranteed weekly work every Monday
Support from a dedicated education consultant
