Zest Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in Tamworth. This is a full-time position starting after February half term, with the potential to continue on an ongoing basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community where you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the primary phase.
Full-time position (Monday to Friday)
Starting after February half term
Ongoing placement
Supporting across Years 1–5
Delivering planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
Providing small group and 1:1 intervention support
Assisting with planning and classroom management where required
HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
Proven experience working within a primary school setting
Confidence supporting across KS1 and KS2 (Years 1–5)
Strong behaviour management skills
The ability to adapt to different year groups and learning needs
A positive, proactive and flexible approach
