Job Description

KS2 Teacher – Solihull

Zest Education are looking for a teacher/ECT committed to providing a safe, caring, and engaging environment for pupils to learn and grow personally, socially, and academically.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and teaching engaging and creative lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.

  • Preparing teaching resources, marking student work, and maintaining an organised classroom environment.

  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and senior leaders.

  • Communicating effectively with parents to track and support pupil progress.

  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school’s expectations and policies.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant KS2 experience (Year 3 preferred).

  • Have a strong understanding of the curriculum and best practices in primary teaching.

  • Be passionate about delivering high-quality education that supports pupil progress and well-being.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.

  • Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS certificate.
