Teaching Assistant – April 2026

Job Description

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, offering the chance to make a genuine difference while maintaining a balanced weekly routine.

Set in rural Solihull, this small primary school places joy at the center of its ethos. With smaller class sizes, staff are able to focus closely on each child’s individual needs. Since opening, the school has been dedicated to supporting pupils’ academic progress as well as their personal and spiritual growth.

What the Role Involves

  • Supporting pupils one‑to‑one and in small groups across different year groups
  • Assisting with classroom activities and providing encouragement and constructive feedback
  • Helping to maintain a positive, engaging learning environment
  • Contributing to behaviour management and day‑to‑day classroom organization
  • Working collaboratively with teachers to ensure every child receives tailored support

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working within a classroom
  • Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or similar)
  • An enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain one
  • A basic understanding of the national curriculum
  • A genuine commitment to helping children learn and thrive
