✨ Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and complex needs).
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff.
  • Delivering tailored support to help pupils engage in learning and develop essential skills.
  • Assisting with behaviour support in line with school policies.
  • Creating a positive, safe, and nurturing classroom environment.

  • Experience working with children with SEN (school‑based experience is desirable but not essential).
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

🎓 Qualifications (Desirable but Not Essential)

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • SEN‑specific training (e.g., Autism Awareness, Team Teach, Makaton)
