About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the class teacher and helping children reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing supportive, engaging assistance to small groups of SEN pupils

  • Helping create an inclusive, positive classroom environment

  • Supporting the class teacher with tailored learning activities and resources

  • Assisting children with communication, emotional regulation, and social interaction

  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and participation

  • Working collaboratively with teachers, SEN specialists, and support staff

  • Able to adapt approaches to meet differing needs

  • Experience in SEN education is desirable but not essential for the right candidate
