Zest Education needs you! We are looking to recruit a hard-working, patient, team player with previous care experience for a lovely school located in North Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the care team within the school catering for students from early years age right through till post 16 ages with PMLD. This school has great built-in facilities for the students to access and work closely with partner schools to achieve success. They work hard to implement enjoyment into the students learning and provide a Get Real curriculum to prepare the students for real life experiences. A large, highly trained, and dedicated staff team is present within the school and help go above and beyond supporting the needs of their students.
This is a full-time role requiring you to work Monday to Friday 8:30AM-15:30PM supporting alongside the care team with personal care and activities within the school. You will be working one a one-to-one basis with students and within small groups of students and previous personal care experience would be required. Due to the age range of the students, you must be flexible across all ages.
The role:
– We are looking for someone with previous special educational needs experience
– You will need to be confident with working with student with PLMD.
– Due to this school catering for a variety of ages, you will need to be adaptable

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
