We are looking for a part-time learning support assistant for a SEND school located in Sheldon, Birmingham. This school supports students aged two to eleven with PMLD and works hard to provide the best education to their students. The school provides an augmented and modified curriculum to meet the needs of the students and help all learners access the curriculum in many different aspects. A huge emphasis on working on independence is carried within the school and supported by a large and dedicated staff team.
This is a part-time learning support assistant role supporting alongside the teacher and other learning support assistants. You will be required to work one a one-to-one basis and within small groups of students. Due to the age range of students, you must be flexible across all ages.
The role:
– We are looking for someone with previous special educational needs experience
– You will need to be confident with working with student with PLMD.
– Due to this school catering for a variety of ages, you will need to be adaptable
